Right of withdrawal

Terms and conditions for exchanging and returning your purchase at Audioplay.nl

If the car radio you ordered doesn't fit, or if you're having trouble installing or installing it, please feel free to contact us. We'll walk you through the installation process remotely. If you received the wrong product, or if there's another reason you're not satisfied, please contact our customer service. We'll see what we can do for you.

Returns:

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount, including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the online store are at your own expense. These costs are approximately €7.25 per package; consult your carrier's website for the exact rates.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the company with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to sell the product, we may charge you for the reduction in value of the product. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.

To exercise this right, you can contact us via info@audioplay.nl. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of registering your return, provided the product has already been returned in good order.

Legal clause – Right to refuse return in case of misuse

Article X – Refusal of return in case of misuse

  1. Consumers retain the right to withdraw from a product within 14 days in accordance with the European Consumer Rights Directive. This right is intended to evaluate the product, not to abuse the returns process.

  2. Audioplay has the right to refuse a return if there is abuse of the right of withdrawal or other fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to:

    • the act of deliberately ordering with the intention to return without a valid reason;

    • structural or exceptional return behaviour;

    • coordinated orders by multiple people with identical patterns;

    • the use of false data or multiple identities;

    • the intentional damaging or incomplete return of products;

    • actions that demonstrably damage the company.

  3. If Audioplay determines that the right of withdrawal is being abused (Article 3:13 of the Dutch Civil Code), Audioplay reserves the right to refuse the return, even if the consumer has already received the product.

  4. In such a case, the sale remains final, and the consumer remains liable for the full purchase price, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  5. Any damage to products, incomplete returns or intentional misuse can be recovered from the consumer on the basis of Article 6:162 BW (tort).


Exchange procedure:

If your purchases are not to your liking upon receipt, Audioplay.nl offers you the option to exchange the items within 14 days of receipt.

The following conditions apply to exchanging and returning your purchases:

- The items should be returned in their original packaging, where possible.
- The return shipment must be registered with us in advance.
- The products are returned within the cooling-off period of 14 days after receipt of the order.
- The products show no traces of use.

  1. All original packaging materials must be included.
  2. Protective films must not have been removed.
  3. All cables, manuals, etc. should be present as supplied.
  4. The product must not contain any traces of use.
  5. The product must be securely packaged in a box. Therefore, do not use the original product box as a shipping box, if applicable!
  6. The trial period does not mean you can use it as a trial period. The radios can be connected separately without having to install them immediately. We will not accept returns of items showing signs of installation.

Returned items must be properly packaged, just as you received them. Do not affix the return label to the original packaging, as this will result in a reduction in the item's value, which we will unfortunately have to charge you for.

Return costs:

Any shipping costs you paid when placing your order will be reimbursed. However, you will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your order.

In the event of incorrectly delivered products by us, the shipping costs will of course be at our expense.

Exceptions:

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to the company with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging. If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to try it out, we may charge you for the reduction in value of the product. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.

Not all products and orders can be returned. The following products and orders are not covered by the 14-day return period:

- All business purchases are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
- Personalized products. These are products that are not sold as standard, but are assembled and/or ordered from one of our suppliers at your request.
- Products that have not been installed according to the installation instructions.

You can assess the product to determine whether you want to keep it. For example, you can connect a product to the power supply without making any changes to the wiring. However, you cannot fully secure car radios if you do not wish to keep the product. The screws will leave marks on the screw holes.
